We will begin with a Master Mason Degree at 10 am (breakfast at 9am), Come join in the Raising of a Fulton lodge Brother. Full sidelines make a lasting impression!

Then at noon we will begin our second lecture conference, building on our May 20th meeting. It was great to see the brethren taking the initiative to further their masonic knowledge by diving into the ART of lecturing! Even if you missed the first one, don't let that discourage you from attending! "Anytime" is a good time to start!

We all owe it to our new brothers to present good, meaningful lectures for all future generations! Check fabulous5th.com for calendar updates!

Passing of WB August C. (Jerry) Holzer

Yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, WB Jerry Holzer laid down his working tools and entered the celestial lodge above as the result of a mowing accident.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, May 21, at St John's United Church of Christ, Holgate, OH from 1:00-3:00 pm. The church is located 3 miles north of Holgate on St. Rt. 108 at the corner of Co. Rd. J. Masonic services will be at 3:00 with a Commandery service to follow. Funeral service will be at 4:00 with a lunch after.

WB Holzer was a Past Master of Napoleon Lodge #256, a member of the AASR, Valley of Toledo, active in all the York Rite Bodies but most especially the Commandery where he served as Grand Commander in 2011-12.

If using GPS to locate the church, use the address 13039 Co Rd. J. This is actually the address of the parsonage which is across the road from the church. Using the actual church address seems to confuse GPS and will many times not get you to the correct location.

Benefit for Tatum Untied Cancer Support

Brothers of the Fifth District,

I received this communication from a fellow brother from Fulton 248 who recently lost his wife to cancer.  He is taking on the noble task of forming a non-profit to help others battling this horrible disease.

I'm not sure if you are aware of the non-profit that I've started in Tatum's honor, or of our goals, but I assure you we will improve the quality of life of those battling cancer, and have a significant impact on the direction of research into treatments and an eventual cure for cancers. To that end, we are having our first fundraiser to Benefit the non-profit on Saturday May 13, 2017. Any support that I might get from my Masonic brothers would be VERY much appreciated. I'm not looking for donations, but it would mean a lot to me if some of my brothers would be interested in attending. It will be a great evening of fun and will support a worthwhile cause.
Thank you in advance for any support you may be able to provide.

Fraternally yours,

Chris Hummel - Fulton Lodge 248
