Fulton Lodge 248 Delivers an Amazing Inspection in MM

Congratulations to WM Craig Szczublewski and the crew of Fulton 248 on their MM Inspection on February 24. Fulton had 17 brothers in attendance with 8 past master. With 42 visitors, there were 59 total. This wraps up 5 of 10 inspections with the next inspection Friday March 3 at Bryan 215 in FC.

Edon 474 Has a Great Night for EA Inspection

It was agreat night for WM Bruce McKibben and his lodge on their EA Inspection. Edon had 17 brothers in attendance with 12 past master. With 54 visitors, there were 71 total, the house was packed. This wraps up 4 of 10 inspections. The next inspection Friday February 24 at Fulton 248 in MM.

Sherwood Lodge 620 Inspection in EA

Congratulations to WM Wayne Cripps and his lodge last night on their EA Inspection.  Sherwood had 16 brothers in attendance with 7 past master.  With 52 visitors, there were 68 total.  This wraps up 3 of 10 inspections with 30 in perfect attendance.  The next inspection Friday February 10 at Edon 474 in EA.  

Wauseon 349 2017 EA Inspection Tonight

WB Douglas Parker and has line officers at Wauseon #349 had a great night with their EA degree and incredibly well attended. There were 27 Brothers from Hicksville present. Combined with 49 visiting brothers for 76 in attendance. Bryan #215 had 9 traveling brothers and once again takes the Traveling Trophy home until the next Inspection. Hicksville 478 Kicks off 2017 Inspection Season

WB Richard Altman and has line officers at Hicksville #478 had a great night with their EA degree. There were 14 Brothers from Hicksville present. Combined with 38 visiting brothers for 52 in attendance. Bryan #215 had 9 traveling brothers and takes the Traveling Trophy home until the next Inspection. The next will be Wauseon #349 on Friday January 20 at 7pm in EA. Come early for dinner at 6pm.

Grand Master's One Day Class - 5th Masonic District

Hello Brothers,

Here is the information on the one day class we had talked about during the Past Master meeting.  

We would like every candidate to go through your door before coming to the one day class. This will make them more at home in your lodge and more likely to attend your meeting in the future.  This is not mandatory, but conferring the EA degree in your own lodge beforehand would be ideal. 

Candidate information - Please look in the Beacon that was sent out this month. It has a removable brochure and petition for degrees in it that is perfect for the one day class. This link is for a downloadable PDF version. 

Application for membership is open to men who: Have been an Ohio resident for at least six months. Are at least 19 years old by March 25 (if only attending the one day class, otherwise 19 years old if conferring the EA degree beforehand). Have a belief in a Supreme Being. Live a good moral and social life. Do not advocate the overthrow of the government. Can read and write English.

It is important that everyone has been voted on in Lodge before the 3rd week of February and that Grand Lodge has the candidate information in MORI before the class, if not they can’t go.

You are allowed to vote on candidates at special meeting for the one day class. 

Your lodge may need to have a special meeting to vote and a special meeting to confirm the candidate before the class. 

The sponsoring lodge will need to provide the following at the class on March 25th 2017 at 8 am: Candidates information, Apron, Bible, and a person from your lodge to stand with the candidate.

We will be providing breakfast in the morning and lunch in the afternoon.
