Was it a busy Masonic week for you? We certainly had a full calendar last week, but what great opportunity to strengthen old friendships and forge new ones. We return to a more settled schedule this week, but we do have our final inspection for the district on Friday:

Call for Volunteers

Brothers all, Lily Creek Farms has an open call for volunteer help March 28 & 29 and April 3 & 4. Please connect with Jim Parsons if you are available (jparsons51@gmail.com/(419) 439-0321). They are asking for five brothers per day for each of the four days to help with the notred activities (we are encouraged to wear our masonic emblems on hats, shirts, etc): 
1. If you have any volunteers with Horse experience, they could use some help with leading the horses to the different activities.
2. They need help with directing people where to park and help getting on and off the shuttle bus. (Guests will be shuttled back and forth from Napoleon Elementary School to the farm.)
3. Greeting people as they arrive at the farm, hand them maps, show them where the store is if they have questions, you cannot answer, helping them on and off the shuttle bus.
4. Bussing tables on 3/29 and 4/3
5. Anyone with animal experience who can help with our miniature petting zoo. We have a miniature pony, a miniature donkey, and a pot-bellied pig.
6. Helping make sure helmets fit the riders properly.
7. Help with games and handing out eggs after completing the games. (carnival-like games)

Napoleon 256 Inspects in FC, March 13, 2026

After the traditional Jiggs Dinner, Napoleon Lodge's sidelines were well filled. Our 39 visitors included Brothers from Prince Hall Amazon Lodge # 4 of Toledo. Brother Dumire received a very fine Fellowcraft Degree. The dessert brownies after the degree were delicious. Perfect attendance is now at 18. Fulton Lodge took home the Traveling Trophy with 10 in attendance. Next week we have Liberty Center Lodge providing a Fellowcraft Degree at 7:00 pm on Friday March 20, then a quick turnaround to Sycamore Lodge and a 9:00 am Master Mason Degree. on Saturday, March 21.

Omega Lodge 564 Inspects in MM February 27

The numbers were lower, but the enthusiasm was still high for Omega Lodge's Master Mason Degree. Visiting candidate, Brother Bryan Ward, received a very good Master Mason Degree. Our thanks to Brother Ward and Liberty Center Lodge for "loaning" a true candidate.  Napoleon Lodge, and WM French literally ran away with the Traveling Trophy. Perfect Attendance is now at 22.  The evening concluded with a sweet treat smorgasbord for  refreshments.. Next is Napoleon Lodge and a Fellowcraft degree on March 13.  Their famous Jiggs Dinner starts at 6:00 pm (Please RSVP to the lodge).

Here we are in the last week of February, and the first day of spring draws ever closer.  We are officially halfway through inspections now, with an amazing turnout at Edon Lodge's EA inspection last Friday.  We have one more this month with Omega next Friday, and then a week off.  Here is the list of events for you:

Edon Lodge EA Inspection - February 20, 2026

After a nice meal, the lodge room was crowded with 48 visitors, including MWB Charlie Murphy and other dignitaries from Zenobia Shrine. Edon Lodge #474 F&AM  brothers put on an excellent Entered Apprentice Degree for Brother Sanchez.  Thanks to Brother Sanchez and Omega Lodge for allowing Edon Lodge to initiate a true candidate. Once again, Fulton Lodge claimed the Traveling Trophy.  Perfect attendance now stands at 26.  Keep it going - Omega Lodge inspection next Friday, February 27, with the Master Mason Degree.
