Brothers all,
 
I am very excited to announce that Wauseon Lodge #349 is holding their annual Table Lodge on Wednesday, June 28th and they are cordially inviting the Brothers of the Fabulous 5th Masonic District to join them.  If you've never attended a Table Lodge before, you'll want to be there. What a great Masonic experience! The evening begins at 6:00pm with a Beef and Noodles dinner followed by a Tyled Table Lodge of Entered Apprentices.  The dress for this event is business casual. If you would like to attend this fun night of Freemasonry, please RSVP to wauseon349@gmail.com by June 21st so the Brothers of the 349 will know how many to expect.  Let's all come out and help Wauseon Lodge turn out the lights before we go dark for the summer.

Despite the rain, we had a fun District Awards night at Leisure Time Winery in Napoleon, Ohio Friday night.  The Award recipients for last night are:

  • Best Inspection: Edon Lodge
  • Master of the Year: Jesse Spillman (Edon Lodge)
  • George O. Braatz Award: Sycamore Lodge
  • Beehive Award: Doug Eis (Napoleon Lodge)
  • Lewis Hackett Award: Napoleon Lodge 
  • First Time Lecture: Ryan Bleck (Hicksville Lodge) and Craig Szczublewski (Fulton Lodge)
  • Hiram Abiff Award: Walter Haper, Jr. (Sycamore Lodge)
  • Education Award: Doug Parker (Wauseon Lodge) and Bob Morrison (Napoleon Lodge)

Liberty Center 518 Annual Inspection

The district 5 inspection season came to a spectacular end Thursday night with a visit from our Grand Master.  Most Worshipful Brother Steven M. Grindle was in attendance at Liberty Center Lodge #518 to see Bro. Clark Myles passed to the degree of Fellowcraft.  WB Doug Cook had a packed house with 41 visitors traveling from 3 different districts.  Fulton Lodge #248 was awarded the traveling trophy with 10 brothers present.

What a great night of Masonry in Hicksville. We got treated to an amazing EA degree and inspection, had the company of the Grand Master and other grand lodge officers, and some amazing pizza after. Congratulations Officers of Hicksville 478! Also congrats to Sycamore 520 on taking home the traveling trophy. Next inspection is Sherwood next Friday in EA.

Worshipful Master Chase Williams and the Brothers of Omega Lodge 564 welcome Brother Jacob Rodriquez as our newest Master Mason.  The next stop on the inspection trial goes through Hicksville on March 1st as we continue the task of Building Brotherhood.
