Your District Planner for the week of September 27, 2026

Greetings, Brothers. This week, we say goodbye to September and hello to October... Let me let that sink in for a moment! It's been a busy month, as we have all returned from a much-needed summer break. October brings Grand Lodge Communications and preparations for annual lodge meetings and the election of officers in November. We have a few items queued up this week:

• 9/28: Liberty Center Lodge #518 stated meeting @ 7:30p
• 10/1: En Sa Woc Sa Chapter stated meeting @ 7:30p
• 10/3: Omega Lodge #564 stated meeting @ 9a
• 10/3: Wauseon Chapter/Council stated meeting w/breakfast @ 9a

If you want to take a short trip on Monday, Rubicon Lodge at Browning has its stated meeting @ 7:30p, with their lecture series featuring WB Taylor Kleineick, RSS presents: Network and Pomegranate: An Introduction to Network and Graph Theory and its Implications for the Masonic Fraternity. I am not sure of the degree they are opening in, so just assume MM to be safe.

Grand Lodge Communication is on October 16th at the Dayton Masonic Center. Are you planning on going? A reminder to Lodge secretaries to get proxy cards ready in case any of your three principal officers are not attending. See your DDGMs if you have questions about who can hold proxies from your lodge.

Save the date for two important installations: the new DDGM will be installed on October 22, and the new DEO will be installed on October 30. Both locations and details will be published after Grand Lodge on October 16.

Last, mark your calendars for the Past Master Convocation on December 5, 2026. The location will change this year to Napoleon Lodge. New Masters must attend, even if you were a master the previous year.
